Surface Condition: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from rust, grease, and other contaminants.
Environment: Apply in a well-ventilated area.
Protection: Mask off surrounding areas to protect against overspray.
Priming: A multi-surface primer (such as Carbosol High Build Primer) is recommended before applying on certain substrates to ensure optimal adhesion.
Agitation: Shake the can vigorously for 2–3 minutes until the agitator ball is free. Continue to shake occasionally during use.
Distance: Hold the can 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) from the surface.
Technique: Apply in light, even strokes. Avoid overlapping to maintain a consistent finish and prevent runs.
Coats: For heavy-duty protection or a more durable finish, apply several light coats rather than one thick layer.
After Use: Invert the can and spray briefly to clear the valve and prevent the nozzle from clogging.

Q: What is Carbosol Professional Quickcoat Satin?
A: It is a high-quality, fast-drying spray paint in a 400ml aerosol. It provides a durable, protective finish with a Satin (Semi-Gloss) look, which is a subtle, modern alternative to full gloss or flat matt.
Q: Where can I use this satin spray paint?
A: It is perfect for both interior and exterior projects. It is a very popular choice for internal woodwork, radiators, and cupboards. Externally, it is frequently used on garage doors and both wood or composite front doors.
Q: What colours are available?
A: Standard colours include Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), Slate Grey, Black, White, Post Office Red, and Gentian Blue. We also offer a colour-matching service to any RAL Classic, BS 4800, or BS 381c codes.
Q: What should I do after I finish painting?
A: To prevent the nozzle from blocking, turn the can upside down and spray for a second or two. This clears the valve so the paint doesn’t dry inside, keeping the can ready for your next project.
Q: Are there other finishes available?
A: Yes, if you prefer a different level of shine, this professional range is also available in Gloss and Matt finishes.
