Carbosol Garden Furniture Primespray is a 400ml format of our Garden Furniture Primer Undercoat. The undercoat is oil based and designed to be applied to new or previously painted furniture such as chairs, tables and benches before application of our Professional Garden Furniture Paint.
The aerosol form allows you to apply Garden Furniture Primer Undercoat to areas that are hard to reach with a brush, such as the underside of a chair or bench. Garden Furniture Primer Undercoat comes in four different colours. This means you can choose a colour that will not clash with your chosen topcoat colour.
The undercoat also allows you to change the colour of furniture without needing to remove the existing paint. You can achieve this by using an undercoat colour that bridges the difference between colours.

Preparation
Surface Condition: Ensure all surfaces are free from contamination. They must be clean, dry, and free from rust and grease.
Compatibility: Always carry out a test patch (approximately 100x100mm) before full application to ensure compatibility with previous coatings and the substrate.
Application
Shake Well: Shake the can well for approximately 2–3 minutes, ensuring the agitator ball is free before use. Shake occasionally during application.
Method: Spray lightly from a distance of approximately 6–8 inches (15–20 cm).
Coating: Apply light, even coats. For heavy-duty protection, apply several light coats.
Intervals: Allow 15 minutes between light coats during the initial application.
Conditions: Do not apply when the ambient temperature is below 10°C.
After Use: Invert the can and spray briefly to clear the valve and prevent clogging.
Curing: Keep the coated area dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application.
