Calcium Chloride is used across a wide range of industries, including Chemical, Manufacturing and Pottery. It is suitable for a number of uses such as de-icing, dust control and an agent to remove moisture.

Calcium Chloride is also used as a key component in the pottery industry. It aids in the application of glazes to non porous surfaces such as bisque porcelain. It is used as a flocculent, which suspends and thickens the glaze. This puts the glaze into a gel state, which allows it to stay in place instead of running off when applied to a non porous piece.
