Product Description
Teamac Marine Satin is an oil based marine topcoat. It is designed for many types of boat, including yachts, power boats, dinghies and narrowboats. The satin finish makes it ideal for use on areas of a boat that require low glare, such as the roof. It also has a good resistance to oil and water, making it suitable for marine surfaces.
Marine Satin is designed to work as part of a system along with Teamac Marine Primer Undercoat. For additional Anti Corrosive protection use a Marine Anti Corrosive Primer.
Touch dry in 5 hours and hard dry in 24 hours. Leave 12 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate. Can be used directly on GRP. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.

Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. Care must be taken during application that the temperature is above the dew point to avoid any contamination. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying
Preceding Coat
Can be applied directly to prepared GRP, iron or steel. For greater protection prime with Teamac Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer. On wood use Teamac Wood Primer.
