Product Description
Teamac Marine Primer Undercoat is a primer designed for use on boats and marine structures. It can be used on wood, GRP, iron and steel on Yachts, Narrowboats, Cruisers, Barges and other marine structures.
For a long lasting finish, use with Teamac Marine Gloss.
Touch dry in 2 hours and hard dry in 12 hours. Leave 12 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Wood should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Apply direct to abraded GRP. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Preceding Coat
Direct to wood, metal and GRP.
Subsequent Coat
Teamac Marine Gloss or any suitable, conventional white spirit based topcoats.
