Product Description

Nullifire sc804 is a white water based intumescent coating for use on internal structural steel. It provides optimised loadings for 90 minutes, as well as limited 120 minute protection.

Nullifire sc804 is designed for use on ‘I’ section beams and columns, hollow columns, hollow beams, cellular beams, concrete filled hollow columns and solid steel rods. It can be used on steel, cast iron and galvanised steel.

For a decorative finish, apply a topseal such as Nullfire TS816 Topseal, or Palatine’s Nullifire Approved Topseal (comes in a range of colours and finishes).

If a 60 minute rating is required, see Nullifire SC802.

Please see the datasheets for full details and directions for use.

Please Note: If you require certification, you must complete an intumescent enquiry form prior to your order. This ensures you apply the correct quantity needed to achieve the fire rating. The enquiry form is available to download from the ‘Data Sheets’ tab.

Amateur / Professional uses: Shake Well. Apply using a synthetic brush designed for oil based products, spreading out thinly and evenly, ensure end grain is thoroughly treated along with cut and drilled areas. Reseal container after use. It is recommended that a minimum of 2 coats are applied depending on wood species and surface characteristics. Allow 6–12 hours drying time (touch dry) between coats. Application of successive coats will provide a darker finish and on smooth wood a higher sheen finish. If using the Clear Preserver in conjunction with a stain / wood dye it is recommended to apply the colourant before the Preserver, test effect on an off-cut initially. Before use, test a small inconspicuous area with all products to be used, to ensure a satisfactory final finish and compatibility. Do not use if ambient temperature is below 5°C or humidity is above 80%. Clean tools immediately after use with White Spirit or Brush Cleaner.
