General: All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking material.
Glossy Surfaces: Rub down with wet/dry abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid inhaling dust.
Absorbent Surfaces: To seal, apply a coat of Palatine Truflat Contract Matt thinned with 1 part water to 9 parts paint.
Wood: Prime with Trucryl Wood Primer before application.
Environment: Do not apply when the ambient temperature is below 10ºC.
Mixing: Stir well before use.
Methods: Can be applied by brush, roller, paint pad, or spray.
Thinning: This is a water-based product. Do not thin unless applying onto absorbent surfaces or spraying, in which case you can add up to 10% clean water.
Coats: Two coats are recommended to ensure a smooth, durable writing surface.
Technique: Apply the paint evenly and avoid overspreading.
Protection: Keep coated areas dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application.
Colours Available: 11 Standard, BS 381C, BS4800 and Ral Classic range.
Pack Sizes: 500 ml, 1 Litre, 2.5 Litre, 5 Litre.
Surface Dry: 1 to 2 hours
Hard Dry: 8 hours
Overcoat: after 2 to 4 hours. Keep coated areas dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application. Please note, drying times will be extended at low temperatures. Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC
Theoretical Coverage: 12 – 14m² per litre.
(Coverage rate can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.)
Thinning: Use clean water. Do not thin unless applying onto absorbent surfaces or spraying, in which case up to 10% clean water can be added.
Cleaning: Clean brushes and equipment immediately after use with clean water.

If using more than one batch of the same colour, intermix before use.
