A spray format, tough traditional clear gloss varnish aerosol for new, previously painted, stained or varnished wood yacht and marine surfaces. With great quality and a high gloss finish, our spray varnish is the ideal tough coating for keeping your yachts and boats looking fantastic.
Our Yacht Varnish Spray provides superb durability, making it ideal as a coating for windows, doors and decks to protect them from poor weather.

Surface Dry: 2 hours
Hard Dry: 4 hours
Overcoat: after 2 hours
Keep coated areas dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application.
Please note, drying times will be extended at low temperatures. Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC
Theoretical Coverage: 5m² per can.
This marine wood varnish spray aerosol gives an excellent tough coating with an attractive high gloss even finish. Good coverage and quick drying times enable you to complete jobs quickly with great results. Surface Condition: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any contamination, rust, and grease.
Pre-Use Shake: Shake the can well for approximately 2–3 minutes, ensuring the agitator ball is heard moving freely before use.
Compatibility: The varnish is suitable for new, previously painted, stained, or varnished exterior wood and marine surfaces.
Environmental Conditions: Best results are obtained in warm conditions. Do not apply when the ambient temperature falls below 10ºC.
Spraying Technique: Spray lightly from a distance of approximately 6–8 inches (15–20 cm).
Coats: Apply light, even coats. For heavy-duty use or maximum protection, apply several coats.
Mixing During Use: Shake the container occasionally throughout the application process to maintain consistency.
Post-Use Maintenance: After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the valve and prevent clogging.
Curing: Keep the coated area dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application.
Pack Sizes: 400ml Spray (also available in packs of 6 and 12).

Overcoat: After 2 hours (Allow 15 minutes between light coats).

I used this varnish with great results on a walnut dashboard from a vintage car.
Gives a superb lustre and depth of colour to the wood.
Easy to apply, and flours up well between coats.
Gives a high gloss finish out of the can, will also steel wool down and burnish to an excellent finish after being left to cure for several days.
