Our Carbosol Radiator Quickcoat Spray Paint is an aerosol format of our Professional Radiator and Appliance Paint. It has a gloss finish and is ideal for touching up or to reach areas that are difficult to access with a brush or roller. With 29 colours of Radiator Spray Paint available, you can keep your radiator white, or paint it blue, green, grey, black or even purple!

Application details:
Ensure are surfaces are free from contamination, are clean, dry and free from rust and grease free
Share well for approx. 2-3 mins ensuring the agitator ball is free before use.
Spray lightly from approximately 6-8 inches, applying light even coats
For heavy duty use apply several coats.
Shake the container occasionally throughout applications.
After use invert can and spray briefly to clear the valve.

Allow 15 minutes between coats
Allow 30 mins before handling
Drying time is dependent on film thickness: approx 1-2 hours @ 20 °C
Colours Available: Black, White, Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), Slate Grey (RAL 7016), Golden Yellow (RAL 1004), Gentian Blue (RAL 5010), Post Office Red, and Mid Brunswick Green (BS381 226). Custom colour matching to RAL Classic, BS 381C, and BS 4800 is also available.
Pack Sizes: 400ml Aerosol Spray.
(Based on standard conditions of 20°C)
Surface Dry: 15 – 30 minutes (Touch dry).
Hard Dry: 1 – 2 hours (Full film dryness depending on thickness; allow 30 minutes before handling).
Overcoat: 1 hour. (Wait 15 minutes between light coats during the initial application).
Allow at least 24 hours after the final coat before turning the radiator back on to ensure full curing.
Theoretical Coverage: Approximately 2m² per 400ml can.
Thinning: Not applicable (Aerosol). Shake well for 2–3 minutes before use until the agitator ball is free. Shake occasionally during application.
Cleaning: After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the valve and prevent clogging. For accidental overspray or cleaning of surrounding areas, use Palatine White Spirit.
Q: What surfaces can Carbosol Radiator Quickcoat Spray Paint be used on?
A: This spray paint is specifically formulated for use on domestic radiators, heated towel rails, and hot water pipes. It can also be used on other metal surfaces where a heat-resistant finish is required.

A: Yes, it is designed to withstand the high temperatures of radiators and heating systems, maintaining its colour and finish without yellowing, cracking, or peeling.
Q: Do I need to use a primer before applying Carbosol Radiator Quickcoat Spray Paint?
A: For bare metal or previously rusted surfaces, a suitable metal primer is recommended. For previously painted radiators in good condition, simply clean and lightly sand before spraying.
