Product Description
Coo-Var Anti-damp paint is a white, low odour, resin based paint with efflorescence resistance. It is designed as a primer to be applied to damp areas of indoor walls and ceilings, with an active reagent that binds with dampness and surface moisture.
It also contains a biocidal product that reduces discolouration and preserves the dry film. Conventional paint, such as Pliocem Masonry paint can be used as an overcoat after application.
Touch dry in 2 hours and hard dry in 8 hours. Leave 12 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, sound and free from contaminants and grease. Can be applied to damp surfaces but ensure the surfaces are not saturated. Scrape and brush the surface to remove any loose flaking material. Flat down glossy surfaces with abrasive paper.
Treat any mould or lichen with a proprietory mould remover with a scraper or a stiff brush then treat again. Remove sources of damp and repair structural problems prior to application (See Remarks section).
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Suitable topcoat or wall covering.
Remarks
Ensure all sources of damp are repaired prior to treatment, this includes structural, plumbing faults and rising damp.
