2K Epoxy Dust Sealer Clear Gloss is a two pack dust sealer for new and old concrete floors. It is ideal for use in areas such as warehouse and production floors, where dust can quickly build up. It prevents the dust from becoming difficult to remove, allowing fore a cleaner and safer working area.

Please note: as this is a two pack coating, there is a limited time to use the clear sealer once the parts have been mixed (30 minutes). After this time, the sealer will begin to cure in the pot and become unusable.
Preparation
Effective sealing depends entirely on the cleanliness and condition of the concrete substrate.
De-contamination: The floor must be completely free of oils, fats, grease, chemicals, and paint. Any “laitance” (the weak, milky layer on new concrete) must be mechanically removed.
Dust Removal: After any mechanical preparation (sanding or grinding), the surface must be thoroughly vacuumed. Any remaining loose particles will be trapped in the clear sealer and visible in the finish.
Repair: Address all cracks, holes, or surface damage using a suitable epoxy repair filler before you begin. The sealer will not fill these gaps.
Temperature Adjustment: Prior to mixing, ensure the material has been allowed to reach the ambient air and floor temperature. Applying cold sealer to a warm floor (or vice versa) can cause bubbling or poor penetration.
Application
This is a high-performance 2-part chemical system with a very short working window. Plan your application carefully.
Mixing Part A: Stir the Base (Component A) on its own for 1–2 minutes using a slow-speed drill and helical spinner.
The Full Mix: Add the entire contents of the Activator (Component B) to the Base. Mix for a further 2–3 minutes until the liquid is completely homogenous. Important: Keep the mixing head fully submerged to avoid whipping air into the mixture, which causes cloudy bubbles in the clear gloss finish.
Thinning: Once parts A and B are mixed, dilute the mixture with 10%–12% clean water. This lowers the viscosity and allows the sealer to penetrate deep into the concrete pores.
The 30-Minute Rule: You must apply the sealer immediately after mixing and thinning. The “Pot Life” is only 30 minutes at 20°C; after this time, the material will begin to cure in the bucket and become unusable.
Technique: Pour the mixture directly onto the floor in a ribbon and spread using a rubber squeegee or a high-quality roller.
Avoid Pooling: Do not allow the sealer to “puddle” in low spots. This will result in a patchy, uneven visual appearance once cured.
Two-Coat Process: A second coat is standard for a professional dust-proof finish. Apply the second layer between 30 minutes and 6 hours after the first. If you wait longer than 6 hours, the surface may need light abrasion to ensure the next coat sticks.
Clean Up: Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water. Once the epoxy cures, it can only be removed mechanically.
