Product Description
Palatine Professional Garden Furniture paint is an oil based topcoat available in a satin or matt finish. It is designed to paint a variety of garden furniture, such as outdoor chairs, tables and benches including wooden and metal furniture.
It provides long term protection and greater opacity compared to many water based alternatives. This prevents the need for constant recoating to maintain a solid colour finish. Also available as a garden furniture spray with both performing best with our recommended primer and undercoat for wooden and metal surfaces.
If you’re looking for metal or wooden garden furniture paint to give a new lease of life, our Professional Garden Furniture paint is a great choice and is also available in a garden furniture spray paint. It provides a range of solid, vibrant colours and an eye-catching satin or matt finish.
With a range of 30 gorgeous stock colours to choose from, there are many options available to renovate and transform your garden furniture. If your desired colour isn’t shown on the stock colour chart, or you’re looking to match your furniture to an existing colour in your garden, we also offer colour matching facilities to RAL and BS colour codes.
Touch dry in 3 hours and hard dry in 8 hours. Leave 24 hours before overcoating.

Drying time: 12hrs
Application: Brush
Coverage: 180ml/m2
Active ingredients: Tebuconazole, IPBC and Permethrin.
Apply the product liberally to the end grain and allow it to be absorbed. The ends of the timber can also be stood in Cut End Preserver for an hour to allow the product to deeply penetrate.
Application method: Amateur: BRUSH AND ROLLER. Professional: BRUSH, DIP AND ROLLER.
Protect environment (e.g. Soil, plants, aquatic environment) from splashes.
Amateur / Professional uses: Shake Well. Apply using a synthetic brush designed for oil based products, spreading out thinly and evenly, ensure end grain is thoroughly treated along with cut and drilled areas. Reseal container after use. It is recommended that a minimum of 2 coats are applied depending on wood species and surface characteristics. Allow 6–12 hours drying time (touch dry) between coats. Application of successive coats will provide a darker finish and on smooth wood a higher sheen finish. If using the Clear Preserver in conjunction with a stain / wood dye it is recommended to apply the colourant before the Preserver, test effect on an off-cut initially. Before use, test a small inconspicuous area with all products to be used, to ensure a satisfactory final finish and compatibility. Do not use if ambient temperature is below 5°C or humidity is above 80%. Clean tools immediately after use with White Spirit or Brush Cleaner.
