Product Description
Carbodeck UV Complete Decking Oil has a rich, flexible resin that prevents blistering and flaking. Containing unique UV absorbers that protect the surface and prevent harmful damage to the surface. The penetrating oils soak deep into the wood which helps to prevent twisting and cracking.
For use on new and suitably prepared softwood and hardwood decking boards, spindles and handrails. Compatible with weathered composite decking boards. A test area recommended.
When applied directly onto new or clean, porous surfaces, the oils penetrate deep into the surface. Older deck boards or non pressure treated, require a base coat of Barrettine Universal Wood Preservative for maximum performance. If the deck boards have mould, algae or mildew, treat and remove with Barrettine Super Concentrated Decking Cleaner
Touch dry in 3 hours and Hard dry in 12 hours. Leave 12 hours before overcoating.

Preparation
Surface Cleaning: If the decking has mould, algae, or mildew, treat and remove these using Barrettine Super Concentrated Decking Cleaner before applying the oil.
Weathered or Untreated Wood: For older deck boards or timber that is not pressure-treated, apply a base coat of Barrettine Universal Wood Preservative first to ensure maximum performance.
Testing: It is recommended to apply the oil to a small test area first to check compatibility and the final colour.
Compatibility: Suitable for new or suitably prepared softwood and hardwood decking, spindles, and handrails. It is also compatible with weathered composite decking boards.
Batch Intermixing: If you are using more than one batch of the same colour, intermix them before use to ensure colour consistency.
Application
Method: The oil is designed to penetrate deep into the wood. Apply directly onto new or clean, porous surfaces.
Second Coat Timing: Apply the second coat after 12 hours.
* Note: The second coat should be applied within 3 days. If more than 3 days pass, the surface will require light abrasion before you can overcoat.
