Silicone Water Repellent – prevents water penetration on masonry. Creates a breathable membrane as can be seen by moisture evaporates & water cannot penetrate. Ideal for masonry: brick; stone; concrete; pebbledash and rendering. Silicone water repellent as a result is not affected by UV light. Allow 24 hours to dry before overpainting with masonry paint if desired.
Colours Available: Clear.

Coverage / Drying Times:
Surface Dry: Allow a minimum of 24 hours
Keep coated areas dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application. perform the splash test to determine if second coat is necessary. Please note, drying times will be extended at low temperatures. Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC.
Overcoat: after 24 hours
Theoretical Coverage:
Brick: 55m² per 5 litre.
Concrete: 80m² per 5 litre.
Smooth Concrete Block: 50m² per 5 litre.
Clay & Quarry Tile: 80m² per 5 litre.
Slate: 110m² per 5 litre.
(Coverage rate can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.)
Preparation:
Proper surface preparation is essential for the success of any protective coating system. Before you begin ensure the area is free from any dust, oil, grease, old coatings and surface contaminants. Concrete that has a smooth, flat finish must be opened to allow for proper penetration. This should be done by using a concrete etch product. Allow concrete to dry a minimum of 72 hours after etching and before applying
Application:
Best results are obtained in warm (minimum 10°C), dry conditions.
Do not thin.
The Masonry must be completely cured minimum 4 – 6 weeks and dry.
Shake contents well before use.
A small trial patch should be tried before application over the entire surface.
Two coats are recommended for maximum repellency.
Apply by brush, roller, dipping, or sprayer. If over applied, remove excess before it dries by redistributing to dry areas or wiping off.
Use only with adequate ventilation.
Cleaning: Use Palatine White Spirit.
