This survey line marker spray is a professional spot marking paint for utility mapping, trial holes and excavation. A specialised temporary line marker spray designed for high-impact, short-term demarcation, it’s ideal for site surveys and groundworks. Specifically formulated to deliver bright, clear markings, it naturally disintegrates once the project is complete.
This temporary line marking spray paint is a non-permanent aerosol used primarily for site layout and identification. Unlike our permanent acrylic markers, this survey spray is engineered to provide maximum visibility during the critical stages of a project before eventually fading, removing the need for chemical removal or high-pressure washing once markings are no longer required.
| Colour | Utility |
|---|---|
| 🔴 Red | Electricity / Power |
| 🟡 Yellow | Gas / Oil / Steam |
| 🔵 Blue | Drinking Water |
| 🟢 Green | Communications / Fibre |
| ⚪ White | Proposed Excavation |
Using the wrong colour isn’t just unprofessional—it’s a major health and safety risk.
The lines created with this survey paint start to disintegrate after 2 to 3 months (depending on UV exposure and surface), creating temporary markings for short term use. If you require long-term floor marking for car parks, warehouse bays, or sports pitches, we recommend our Acrylic Line Marker Spray which provides a hard-wearing, permanent finish,.
Please note: The colours on the product listings are only given as a guide. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours. In addition, everyone sees these colours differently.
Area Prep: Clear loose dirt, dust, leaves, and standing water.
Hard Surfaces: For best results on concrete or tarmac, sweep clean and ensure the surface is dry.
Applicators: While the can can be used by hand for touch-ups, a handheld, 4-wheeled, or deluxe line marking applicator is recommended for long straight lines or frequent use.
Mixing: Shake the can vigorously for 2–3 minutes to fully mix the paint.
Test Spray: Perform a short burst onto cardboard or a test area to confirm the colour and flow.
Spraying:
* Hold the can upright and spray from a distance of approximately 10–20 cm from the surface.
* Use short, controlled bursts for clean edges.
* Maintain a steady pace to avoid heavy build-up or runs.
Layering: For brighter or longer-lasting marks, apply a second light coat rather than one single heavy coat.
Usage Environment: Suitable for use on bitumen, concrete, grass, soil, gravel, plants, and timber. It naturally disintegrates after 2–3 months.
Before use, carefully read and observe the warning texts on the label.
