Product Description
Farm Rapid Milkstone Remover is an effective product in the removal and prevention of milkstone and water deposits. This phosphoric acid based descaler can be used in hot or cold solutions. As well as its main purpose this product removes rust and iron stains.

This Product comes comes in two sizes of 5L & 25L.
Never add water to product; always add product to water. Apply one litre of product (1% of 100 litres of water) for light deposits and spot treatment. Apply 2 litres of product (2% of 100 litres of water) for general milkstone removal and descaling.
Warm or cold water can be utilised, although hot water works best and quickly. The solution and the equipment should come into contact for 10 minutes. Rinse this solution, and then cycle the plant with a detergent solution.

Preparation
Safety Rule: CRITICAL: Never add water to the product; always add the product to the water. This prevents dangerous splashing or reactions.
Protective Gear: Wear acid-resistant gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing. This is a phosphoric acid-based solution.
Surface Check: Ensure the equipment (pipeline machines, bucket plants, or bulk tanks) is empty and ready for a cleaning cycle.
Mixing & Dilution
The dosage depends on the level of build-up:
* Light Deposits & Spot Treatment: Use a 1% solution (1 litre of product per 100 litres of water).
* General Milkstone Removal & Descaling: Use a 2% solution (2 litres of product per 100 litres of water).
* Water Temperature: Can be used with warm or cold water, though hot water provides the quickest and most effective results.
Application
Contact Time: Allow the solution to remain in contact with the equipment or surfaces for 10 minutes.
Rust Removal: If using for rust or iron stains on metal parts, the product can be applied to the affected area and left to react until the rust is dissolved (often indicated by the rust turning a black/grey colour).
Rinsing: After the 10-minute contact period, thoroughly rinse the equipment with fresh, clean water.
Final Cycle: For dairy equipment, follow the rinse with a standard detergent cleaning cycle to ensure all acid residue is neutralized and removed.
