Product Description
Coo-Var Aluminium Wood Primer is an oil based primer containing aluminium. It is designed for use on timber to prevent resin staining and blistering of the topcoat. The primer is especially suited for high resinous and knotted wood. It is also suitable for use as a heavy duty wood primer.

Touch dry in 2 hours and hard dry in 8 hours. Leave 16 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. New wood should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate “key” is produced.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Preceding Coat
Apply Coo-Var Aluminium Wood Primer direct to wood.
Subsequent Coat
Most conventional, white spirit based top coats.
