Product Description

A 20KG bag of premium brown rock salt. Ideal for roads, path and driveways, it keeps surfaces clear of snow and ice. The rock salt helps to keep areas accessible and safe, which is especially important in working environments and public areas. Brown rock salt is more cost effective than white, making it ideal for larger areas or places that are more likely to be affected by ice or snow.

The salt works quickly to remove ice and snow to create a safe path for both foot and vehicle traffic. It also contains grit to provide extra traction on surfaces, further reducing the chances of slips occurring.

We also supply a white rock salt, which is cleaner and ideal for use in places leading to indoor areas.

For a faster method of clearing ice and snow, see our premium ice melt. This works up to 8 times faster than rock salt, keeping areas clear for up to 24 hours. It is also three times less corrosive than rock salt and does not leave any kind of residue that would harm carpets if walked in.

Colours Available: Natural Brown/Pink (contains natural minerals and grit). A White Rock Salt option is also available.

Cleaning: Once the ice has melted, any residual grit can be swept away. If used indoors, residue should be cleaned with warm water to prevent salt staining on floor coverings
