A quick drying decorative and durable topcoat, perfect for spraying wood furniture.
Carbosol Furniture Quickcoat is an oil based product with a Satin finish which gives a long term tough protective coating with a slight sheen to the finish look. Satin gives a wipeable finish product so don’t worry about them uncleanable finger marks on your furniture any more.
This easy to use decorative topcoat is a cheaper alternative to Revie and rejuvenate rustic, antique furniture. In a 400ml aerosol perfect for them needed touch-ups.
Estimated Coverage: 2 to 4sqm per aerosol… A little goes a long way!
Surface Condition: Ensure all surfaces are free from contamination. They must be clean, dry, and free from rust and grease.
Testing: Always carry out a test patch (approximately 100x100mm) before full application to ensure compatibility with previous coatings and the substrate, and to confirm the colour.
Shake Well: Shake the can well for approximately 2–3 minutes, ensuring the agitator ball is free before use. Shake occasionally during application.
Distance: Spray lightly from approximately 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) away.
Coating: Apply light, even coats. For heavy-duty use, apply several coats rather than one thick one.
Conditions: Do not apply when the ambient temperature is below 10°C.
Protection: Keep the coated area dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application.
Please note: The colours on the product listings are only given as a guide. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours. In addition, everyone sees these colours differently. Sample pots are available to order upon request. Always carry out a test patch (approximately 100x100mm) before full application to ensure compatibility with previous coatings and the substrate, and to ensure the colour achieved meets your requirements. Failure to do so will result in a product refund claim not being accepted.
Colours Available: 29 Standard, BS 381C, BS4800 and Ral Classic range.
Surface Dry: 15 minutes
Hard Dry: 8 hours
Overcoat: after 24 hours
Keep coated areas dry for a minimum of 24 hours following application. Please note, drying times will be extended at low temperatures. Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC
Theoretical Coverage: 2 – 4m² per 400ml can
(Coverage rate can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.)
Thinning: Not applicable (Aerosol). Shake well for 2–3 minutes before use until the agitator ball is free.
Cleaning: After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the valve and prevent clogging. For any accidental overspray, use Palatine White Spirit.
