Preparation and Application:

  • Surface Preparation: Remove moss, lichen, and loose material by scraping and power washing. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  • Application: Stir well before use. Apply a single thick coat using a brush or roller. For small holes and cracks, apply a coat of Tarmac Restorer, then immediately apply a mixture of Tarmac Restorer and sand to form a thick paste.
  • Drying Time: Approximately 5 hours. Protect from rain for at least 30 minutes after application.

Coverage: 1-2 m² per litre per coat.

Preparation

Clean the Surface: Remove all moss, lichen, and loose material by scraping and power washing. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust and debris.

Conditions: Weather conditions should be dry and the temperature should be above 10ºC.

Dryness: The surface must be fully dry before application. This is crucial to avoid trapping moisture, which can cause the coating to lift.

Application

Mixing: Stir the product well before use.

Basic Application: Apply a single thick coat using a brush or roller.

Repairing Cracks and Holes:
1. Apply a coat of the Tarmac Restorer to the area.
2. Immediately fill the gap with a thick paste made by mixing the Tarmac Restorer with sand.

Protection: Protect the surface from rain for at least 30 minutes after application (though longer is preferred for a full cure).

Colours Available: Black (Restores the deep colour to faded surfaces).

Pack Sizes: 5 Litre (Other sizes available on request).

Coverage / Drying Times

Thinning and Cleaning

Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use. As a bitumen-based product, Palatine White Spirit or a similar solvent cleaner is typically required for equipment cleaning.
