Product Description
Teamac suregrip anti slip deck paint is a non-slip safety coating for interior and exterior use. Appied to Yachts, Power Boats and Narrowboat deck boards or walkway surfaces. Provides a sure foothold, to prevent foot traffic from slipping on wet and dry wood, metal, concrete, GRP and other suitably prepared surfaces.
Based on a modified alkyd, ready mixed, aggregated deck coating which provides a rough anti-slip finish when dry.
For Yachts, Power Boats, Dinghies, Narrowboats and many other marine applications.
Ensure bare wood is clean, abraded, de greased and then painted with Palatine Boat & Barge High Build Undercoat or Teamac Marine Undercoat. Ensure bare metal is clean, abraded, de greased and then painted with Palatine Boat & Barge Primer or Teamac Marine Primer. Concrete, GRP and other previously painted surfaces need to be abraded, de greased and prepared.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate. Existing painted surfaces – Surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Remove all loose and flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate and prepare accordingly.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use. DO NOT USE MECHANICAL SHAKER!
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Preceding Coat
Teamac Wood Primer on wood, Teamac Zinc Phosphate Metal Primer on ferrous metals, Teamac Deck Paint on GRP decks.
Subsequent Coat
