Product Description
Coo-Var Patent Knotting is low viscosity shellac based coating that is designed for use on knotted or resinous areas of wood surfaces, helping to prevent future paint films applied to the surface from becoming stained.
Touch dry in 2 hours and hard dry in 8 hours. Leave 16 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. New wood should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate “key” is produced.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
