10 reviews for Carbolustre 2000 Barn Paint

  1. Dawn Birch (verified owner)

Very pleased with this product. Have used it to paint my wooden feather board fencing. Have previously used Ronseal paint but that would soon fade & I was constantly re-painting it. The Carbolustre barn paint was easy to apply with a brush I chose the Black and it looks great – really shows off the colour of the flowers.

  2. David Cowoo (verified owner)

I’ve painted my sheds and fencing over the years with paints from Ronseal, Cuprinol, Wickes, and also tried Creocote, but none of them gave a long lasting finish. I decided to try something with a bit more ‘body’ and chose Carbolustre 2000 Barn paint. As soon as I started to stir the tin I could tell this paint was in a different league. It was easy enough to apply and although I coated it quite thickly, it didn’t run. Suffice to say I am very pleased with the product and just about to order twice as much again to paint the rest of my woodwork. I feel the bitumen content gives this paint real substance and the shiny gloss finish repels water with the rain just beading away. Lovely stuff.

  3. Grahame Wren (verified owner)

Building leaking like a sieve after 2 coats of “shed paint”, but 2 coats of Carboluster midnight green and no more problems.

Also a great finish just like ordinary gloss paint, not a coat of bitumen, and cheaper that the “shed paint” to boot!

  4. Andrew Bird (verified owner)

Fabulous paint, great website easy to order.
The paint was very easy to apply and has made the farm building look as good as new again.
    Thank you
