Product Description
Teamac Hull Blacking is a bitumen based coating designed for use on boat hulls. It is a suitable coating for narrowboats, cruisers and other inland waterway vessels. This coating can be used without a primer or undercoat and can only be overcoated by another bitumen based coating.
Touch dry in 3 hours and hard dry in 12 hours. Leave 12 hours or overnight before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. New wood should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
