Product Description
Buy Coo-Var Pro-Netic Magnetic Chalkboard Paint is a water based coating that creates a magnetic surface that can also function as a chalkboard. For use on materials other than wood, MDF or plasterboard, carry out a test before full application. For use to make a magnet chalkboard, the surface will need to be primed once painted. Details of this process are located in the ‘REMARKS’ section of the TDS.
Touch dry in 30 minutes and hard dry in 2 hours. Leave 6 hours before overcoating.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil and any other contaminates. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate “key” is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.
Mixing Instructions
Mix well before use.
Application Conditions
As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Do not paint when temperature will be at or below 7 °C during the painting and drying process.
Preceding Coat
Apply direct on to walls and wood. On nonferrous metal use Coo-Var All Metals Primer.

Remarks
Apply a minimum of 3 coats by brush. Do not paint when temperature will be at or below 7 deg C during the painting and drying process. For use as a chalkboard: To prime your chalkboard, lay a piece of chalk on its side and cover the entire board liberally with chalk. Rub it in with a dry rag and then erase.
